Could it be some kind of paradox, in which saying its impossible would imply that there would be no error. But, 20% of UCDS students got it right. From this, we can gather that it is in fact paradoxical. I’ll explain, look. The phrase ‘It’s impossible’ is saying that there is no error. If it were true, no-one would’ve got it right. Since 20% did, we now see that it being impossible is the error. But it also implies that this statement is false. The mental upshot of this means that in fact it is impossible, but fact says people got it right. Understand? It can go on forever. That’s why it is a paradox. Sorry for ruining it.

Or perhaps it is the fact that it should read….
    “Find the error, it’s impossible”
Missing an apostrophe between the t and s in the word it’s.

I’m agree with coolguy answer, maybe there is no error at all so there is a statement “It’s impossible”. With this answer, maybe i’m included on 20% if i’m UCDS student.

Anyway, what is UCDS? A school name?

The original E-mail had the word immpossible spelled wrong. When you sent it, spell check would show you the error. Of course, most people didn’t realize it, allowed the correction, then sent it on with the messed up riddle.
