Photographs Never Happen! Really?

Photography, an endless universe of possibilities. The only thing you need is passion towards the thing in your hand. The sound of shutter is as exotic as moaning
as it excites you. Like the words, photographs speak. They sometimes, speak louder than words.
Now, I have heard this phrase many times that photographs are always created. They are created the the person behind the camera. The hidden mind evaluates, calculates and then press the button to capture the moment. Okay, agreed. To make a good sell-able/exhibit-able photograph, we need to do a lot of work but sometimes the shutter is pressed ever without looking in to the eye piece! Also what about snapshots. They are also a form of photographs.
I was reading some tips on street photography on a very reputed website where one point said something like “If you are clicking on street, learn to click blind shot and never take heavy equipments with you to avoid attention of people around you.” What should we call this? Planned shot? I do not think so. These shots are not planned and just happen.
Whenever you go somewhere for a shoot either alone or in group, you decide to click some particular theme and sometimes the best shot of the day comes to be out of theme of the day. Now in this case you have neither planned for that particular shot nor you were ready for it. IT JUST HAPPENED!!!
I am not saying that all photographs just happen as many big shots photographers plan for everything but I want to say that there are possibilities of “Just Happened” shots around us and we need to be ready for them, always. Carrying your camera, being quick in getting ready for the moment in front of you and pressing the button on the right time is the key to best photograph of your life.
Go out and click. Sometimes enjoying the passion plays better role than planning the passion ![]()

Its a debatable question that photos are created or not.. i believe you can create it only when you have atleast 90% control on the subject & place such as studio, product photography and portrait sessions.
But when you are into different genres of photography like wildlife, landscapes, street photography etc, you can’t control. You have to make composition as per the available sources i.e. subject and light. Even when you are clicking at child its difficult because you can’t change their mood, till the time you click they will change the position.
Photos are made but not by control, it is made by presence of mind at the moment.
